Members' early access tickets on Eventbrite
Managing members early access benefits for your members
Turn on Early Access for your membership program
Before doing this, you'll need to reach out to support@withfriends.co to turn on our Early Access automated benefits for members.
Setting up Early Access tickets on Eventbrite
Create a hidden tier for your early access members on Eventbrite
You'll need to name it specially. Typically the naming convention is "{Level Name} Pre-Sale", where you replace {Level Name} with your appropriate membership level. It is not case sensitive, but the hyphen is necessary.
Note: If you offer members discounts, you should price early access tickets with the intended discount factored in. Due to technical limitations, Withfriends automatic discounts do not apply to early access tiers on Eventbrite.
Sharing pre-sale benefits with your members
To alert your members of these cool early access opportunities, we recommend sending a regular newsletter to your members with a link to https://withfriends.co/early_access
Send a message out to any tier in your membership program by visiting the Member management tab in your dashboard, and clicking the mail icon.
Tip: To find the Withfriends page for any event, you can search for the event using the ticketbuyer events dashboard: https://withfriends.co/dashboard/events
Withfriends members newsletter
Withfriends will also get notified about upcoming events, and their benefits at them every Thursday.
This includes links to any newly released early access tickets highlighted at the top!
How it works
When a ticketbuyer visits the Withfriends page for your event, when they click buy tickets, Withfriends will give them access to your hidden Eventbrite members tier only if they are a member.
If they are not a member, Withfriends will coax them with an opportunity to join your membership program for access.
Important!
It can take up to 3 hours from when you add an Eventbrite early access tier for it to show up on Withfriends.
To have Withfriends find your early access tiers immediately, click "Refresh" on the event. If it was set up correctly, it'll be marked with "Early Access", like this:
