How to pause or cancel your membership on Withfriends
Hey, Withfriends family! Your support for independent culture is what keeps our community vibrant and diverse. Ready for a change in your membership? Here’s a quick guide to make it smooth sailing.
Signing In and Managing Your Membership:

Log In: Start by signing into your membership.

Manage Away: Click Manage My Membership to see all your options.
Pausing your membership
Need to take a break? No problem! Pausing your membership on WithFriends is as easy as pie, and here’s how you can do it in just a couple of taps:

Click Pause membership

Click on the calendar icon next to Start pause to select the date you want to begin your break.

Just below, you’ll find End pause. Click on the calendar there to pick the date when you’d like your membership to kick back in.

After you’ve chosen your dates, you’ll see the date of your first shipment after your pause. Double-check that to make sure it fits your schedule.

Hit “Confirm pause” to set it all in motion.
And that’s it! Remember:

No Charges: While your membership is on pause, we won’t charge you a dime.

Credit for You: If there’s any credit from shipments you'd already paid for during your pause, it’ll be applied automatically for you on your next payment when you resume.

Auto-Resume: Your membership will automatically reactivate on the end date you’ve set. So, you can forget about it until then!
Cancelling your membership
If you’re ready to part ways, select “Cancel membership” at the bottom of the manage page, and if you don't mind, let the organizers know why you are canceling.
A confirmation letter and an expiration date will appear on your dashboard (pictured).
Shipments & Add-ons
Even after cancellation, you’ll get your remaining shipments.
But since addons are charged at the time of shipment, if you have addons in your upcoming shipments, you will continue to be charged for those addons.
To tweak add-ons, just adjust them in your subscription box settings. Here's how you can remove addons from your remaining shipments:

About Membership Commitments:
Sign-Up Commitments: Some memberships need a few months of commitment at sign-up. Cancel early, and you’ll still need to cover the remaining months. For example, cancel a 6-month commitment in month 3, and you’ll pay up to month 6.
Renewal Commitments: Some memberships renew commitments per shipment. Cancel after receiving a shipment, and you’ll have a couple more payments before the commitment ends. For example, if you cancel a 4-month renewing commitment in month 6, you'll pay up to month 8 (and receive shipments accordingly)
