Processing ticket refunds

If you are hosting an event and would like to issue a refund, or cancel an RSVP, this article will show you how

Step 1: Confirm the email address associated with the ticket

Step 2: Navigate to the Events tab in your dashboard and select Refunds. Enter the associated email address and click search to find the related tickets.

Step 3: You will see a list of tickets associated with that email address. Click Refund on the ticket you'd like to refund, and that's it! Ticketbuyers will see the amount refunded to their card in the next 5-10 days.

If you process a refund after an event has passed, the funds may already have been transferred to your account. If so, the refund will be debited to an upcoming membership or event payout, and listed as such in the ledger for that payout.

Trouble finding the right email address?

If searching by email (i.e. andrew@withfriends.co) doesn't turn up the right tickets or any tickets, or if you don't know the email address, try searching for the email notification you received at the time of purchase by the following, in this order.

It can be useful to ask the ticket buyer as well to confirm the email with you.

Or, you can visit the event guest list page, and click the download button to save a CSV of your guests, which will include every email.
