Managing Subscription Box Shipments for Members

You have the ability to view and update all subscription box shipments for your members in one place.

This allows you to field requests such as a member asking to change their address or customize their preferences. It also allows you to adjust shipment dates as needed from your regular schedule.

How Fulfillments Turn Into Shopify Orders

If a member is in good standing and the shipment date has arrived, the orders will automatically be generated at around 5:30AM ET that morning in Shopify, and you will receive an email notifying you that the shipments are ready to be shipped.

Accessing the Fulfillments Page

To access the page where you can view all subscription box shipments, navigate to the "Manage Fulfillments" tab in your admin dashboard.

Understanding the Fulfillments Page

The Fulfillments page is where you can view the entire history of subscription box shipments for your members, as well as the next upcoming shipments for all members.

This page displays shipments grouped by member, and for each member, you will see information such as their start date, end date, current status, and whether their membership is past due (For more information on past due:check out this help center article.)

Each shipment has its own section and includes details such as the shipment date, member preferences, and address.

You will also see helpful links to manage the shipment, as well as a note indicating whether the shipment has been fulfilled or not.

Using Search and Filter Options

If you need to find specific shipments, you can use the search and filter options available on the Fulfillments page.

Use the Member field to search for a specific member's shipments by name or email.

The default view on the Fulfillment page shows only unshipped boxes. To view the entire history, use the "Filter by Fulfillment Status" setting.

You can also use the "Membership Tier" dropdown menu to view shipments for a specific tier.

Lastly, you can narrow down your view by date using the date fields on the Shipment page.

In situations where your view has a lot of shipments, only the first few will be loaded to keep things quick. To load all shipments, click on the "Fetch All" button at the bottom of the page.

Viewing as a Shopify Order

If a member is in good standing and the shipment date has arrived, the orders will automatically be generated at around 5:30AMET that morning in Shopify, and you will receive an email notifying you that the shipments are ready to be shipped.

Click on "View in Shopify" to see that Shopify order for the shipment.

Updating the Address or Preferences for a Shipment

Until the order has been generated, you can click on "Change Settings" to manage preferences, address, and adjust the shipment date for any shipment.

You can choose to update settings for only the current shipment or also apply the settings to all shipments after the current one.

Archiving an Order

In addition to managing settings and viewing Shopify orders, you also have the option to archive a shpiment. This removes the specific shipment from the system entirely, including any reminder emails, the member dashboard, and Shopify orders.
